At IronEarth, we specialize in ferrous metal scrapping, offering high-quality materials like Light Melting Steel (LMS), cast iron, and Plate & Structural (PNS). Our ferrous metal scraps are known for their exceptional tensile strength and durability, making them ideal for various industrial applications, including steel manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, and rail & metro. We ensure rigorous quality control processes to deliver reliable and sustainable raw materials that meet the highest industry standards.
HMS translates to Heavy Melting Scrap. This type of scrap cannot be covered in a protective layer of Zinc (Galvanization), and the density is 0.7 cm³. It lies on the heavier side, so its metal scraps are usually angles, re-bar, pipes, steel poles, cut pipes, ships plate, H or I beams, etc. It is strong and durable.
HMS 80:20 refers to the lighter version of metal scrap, and it can be quickly galvanized. The size of each portion of scrap is lower than 3.2mm. It mainly comprises thin wall tubes, sheep straps of minimal thickness and much more. It might also contain blackened steel. This scrap is free from harmful materials, contamination, radiation, corrosives, garbage etc.
PNS stands for Plate & Structure Scrap. It is lightweight and widely used to manufacture several items in the industries and at other units. Its demand is high in both the corporate and commercial sectors. It can be reused for an extended period. We extract PNS scrap mainly from ferrous metal scraps & process it using high-end tools and tech.
Get the most refined quality of steel turning scrap from us. Also known by the name shavings, filings or chips in circular form. In actuality, it’s a waste or debris generated when the manufacturing process involves removing the upper layer or specific portion of the material to make the end product.
HMS bundles comprise steel scrap and wrought Iron and are mostly 1/8 inch or more in thickness. These are often compressed to the size of a charging box and weigh not more than 75 pounds per cubic foot. This metal scrap is free of any coating material.
LMS means Light Melting Scrap, and it is often packed in bundles. It contains simple metal scraps like Pepsi cans, food tins and thin steel scraps. All these scraps have the required chemical and physical properties. LMS bundles are widely used for several industrial uses and are available in different sizes and specs.
This form of clean steel scrap comprises stampings, sheet clips, soft steel pipes, wrought Iron and other miniature forms retrieved from metal production. It doesn’t exceed more than 12 inches in dimension on any side. Bushelings have a density of 50 lbs per cu. ft.
Cast Iron metal scrap is another form of scrap that is rich in carbon content. We come across several structures as well as products made using carbon steel like pipes, plates, columns, castings etc. Compared to other steel scraps, cast Iron is brittle. It’s not beyond 24×30 inches dimension wise and weighs above 150 pounds.
We accept various types of ferrous metal scraps, including Light Melting Steel (LMS), cast iron, Plate & Structural (PNS), and other steel and iron materials.
Our ferrous metal scraps undergo rigorous sorting and quality control processes to ensure they meet the highest industry standards. We guarantee reliable and durable raw materials for your production needs.
Ferrous metal scraps are ideal for industries such as steel manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, and rail & metro. These materials provide excellent tensile strength and durability for various applications.
